There are several snorkel options down in St. Kitts, but I want to tell you why St. Kitts Water Sports is the way to go. First, you’re heading out on jet skis. We had 8 in our group and the jet skis comfortably handled 3 passengers. Now, you could ride in one of those cattle boats with a bunch of people, but where’s the fun in that? Those jet skis rock. You get to the reef faster and you have a blast getting there. Our guides names was Alan. He was great also. Very laid back, but he was always looking out for all of us. When we got to the site, we learned that he was studying marine science. He has a pretty good idea what’s on the reef. There’s a lot of fish on this reef. Tangs, parrots, trumpet fish, file fish, eels, lobster, and we even saw a trigger. The highlight of the trip was the 8 foot Eagle Ray that swam by the reef. Pretty awesome. Alan takes the time to explain things and answer questions. The cattle boat with the other snorkelers eventually showed up after we were already there for an hour with the reef to ourselves. The equipment was in good shape and we had a great time. This was the highlight of the cruise for us. Four adults and four children ranging from 13-18. Thanks Alan. You were awesome. The Nixon family-6/11/2015
